Family Wellness, Home, Tuesday tip

Green & Clean and Toxin-Free

Did you know that your skin is the largest organ of your body? And that our body absorbs through our skin what we come in contact with . Knowing that many of the cleaners that are on the market contain chemicals that have been directly linked to cancer, neurotoxicity, hormone disruption, reproductive disorders, and asthma, I chose to ditch them and to look for clean alternatives when it came to cleaning my home.

I used vinegar and baking soda for the longest time, but the lingering smell of vinegar is not appealing to the senses. Know what I mean!? In my search for something better, I came upon the best cleaner ever! Young Living’s Thieves Household Cleaner!!

With different measures of dilution, I use it for everything from mirrors to floors and everything in between. My cleaning cabinet is clutter-free from all the old junk and quite simple with this one bottle of concentrated cleaner. I even use it to wash our fruits and veggies!! That’s how safe it is!!

One of my favorite ways to use it is as a cleaning wipe. Below you will find an easy peasy recipe (see the bottom of the graphic) for making your own Green & Clean, Toxin-Free Cleaning Wipes. It’s a time saver and a money saver due it’s dilution and to all the harmful products you’ve eliminated and replaced with this one product.
